Technologies and studies about shading devices have been conducted continuously for building designs to save energy. However, various problems have occurred due to the lack of relevant codes and standards about the designs and constructions of shading devices.
In order to provide fundamental data for the standards about shading devices, this study examines the physical performance of membrane materials for shading devices, which are used domestically and internationally.
A variety of tests were conducted to analyze the physical performances of membrane materials used for shading devices.
